Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukTyres fitted at your door under the RAC Customer Charter, by the mobile arm of a business inspected at 100 per cent: a clear price before the work, the invoice matching it, and a free, binding dispute route if anything is wrong. No call-out charge, 24 hours a day.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
RAC approved mobile tyre fitting means the business is a member of the RAC Approved Garages network, a code approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, whose members follow the RAC Customer Charter, are inspected every year and must offer a free, independent dispute service. The network includes mobile tyre repairers, and YourNewTyres is the mobile arm of Fastlane Autocare, which scored 100 per cent on its RAC audit.
The RAC Service and Repair Customer Charter and Code of Conduct is a written standard covering the four things a customer actually meets: the booking, the work undertaken, costs and charges, and the conduct of staff, including how a complaint is handled. It has been an approved code under the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since 2016 and is still monitored, which means the RAC has to show that members comply, through annual inspections and complaint monitoring, to keep the approval. RAC engineers visit every year and check the branding is used correctly; a member that breaks the code can be required to apologise, refund or repair, and removed if it will not. See about YourNewTyres for the business behind the vans.
For a tyre fitted on your drive the Charter means four concrete things. A clear price before the work, which we give on WhatsApp before the van leaves, covering the tyre, fitting, new valve, balancing and disposal with no call-out charge. The work done as described with a tyre correctly rated for the car, the wheel torqued by hand and the pressures set to the door plate. An invoice that matches the quote. And a free, independent dispute route through the National Conciliation Service if we cannot put a problem right ourselves, binding on us and printed on the paperwork. See mobile tyre fitting for the full job and puncture repairs for the commonest call-out.
The approval sits with the business rather than a building, which is what makes a mobile fit an inspected one: the vans, the fitters and the records belong to the Fastlane Autocare workshop at 232-254 Boundary Road, St Helens, where the certificate hangs in reception alongside the separate AA approval, also passed at 100 per cent. Every fitter is REACT trained for roadside work. Send the size off the sidewall and your postcode on WhatsApp for a fixed price, or see where we cover across the North West and North Wales.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.
Opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send
This is what we get called to, every day and every night.
A blowout on the East Lancs with the traffic doing seventy. You get the car to the layby and the sealant kit does nothing for a torn sidewall. The tyre and the fitter come to you.
Nurses, warehouse staff and drivers start before any tyre bay opens. A flat at six in the morning is not a reason to lose a day. We are already on shift.
Most cars built since 2015 have a can of foam where the spare used to be. It will not fix a sidewall or a big cut. A mobile fitter is the spare wheel now.
The Charter is written for the customer, not the trade. This is what it means at your door.
A clear description of what will be done, when, and what it will cost, agreed before anyone sets off. Ours arrives on WhatsApp with the price and the time.
Done as described, with parts correctly rated for the vehicle. A van tyre with the C marking on the plate, a puncture repaired to BS AU 159, a wheel torqued by hand.
The invoice matches the quote. No call-out charge, no out-of-hours rate, no tyre swapped for a cheaper one in the same size.
Fitters who explain what they are doing and why, and who tell you honestly when a tyre cannot be repaired or a battery is only flat.
A named route, a response, and if we cannot agree, free Alternative Dispute Resolution through the National Conciliation Service, binding on us.
RAC engineers visit every year to check all of it still holds, and to check the logo is being used honestly. See about YourNewTyres for the last result.
Some of this comes from vans that copied the logo and some from customers who have been let down by one.
No. The approval is a standards scheme for the business, not a benefit for members. Anyone can book, and the Charter protects everyone equally.
The RAC network explicitly lists mobile tyre repairers as members. The approval was designed to cover work done on your drive as well as in a bay.
The inspection is the approval. It is annual, and a business that fails to fix what the inspector finds loses the logo. Ask when it was last done.
The prices are ours, fixed before we set off. What the code guarantees is that the price quoted is the price paid.
Not under the code. Free conciliation through the National Conciliation Service, binding on the business, is a condition of membership.
Two organisations, two inspections, both passed at 100 per cent. The AA side is explained on its own page.
The four stages the Charter covers, as they happen on your drive.
Tell us the size off the sidewall and where the car is. You get the price, the time and what will be done, in writing on WhatsApp, before a van moves.
The tyre you were quoted, correctly rated for the car, fitted on the van with a new valve, balanced, pressures set and the nuts torqued by hand to the maker's figure.
The invoice matches the quote. No call-out charge, no out-of-hours rate, nothing added at the kerb. Card or transfer at the car once the work is done.
REACT trained fitters who explain what they are doing, tell you honestly if a tyre cannot be repaired, and give you a named route if anything is wrong afterwards.
Spread the cost of your tyres
Spread the cost of your tyresTwo tyres or more can be spread at 0% interest, subject to status, quoted before the work and fitted at your door under the same inspected standard.
The RAC Approved Garages network is the one approval scheme that names mobile tyre repairers as members, writes a Customer Charter you can hold the business to, inspects every year and builds a free, binding dispute route into membership. What follows is what the Charter says, what the inspection checks, and why it matters more for a fit on your drive than for one in a workshop.
Every member signs up to the RAC Service and Repair Customer Charter and Code of Conduct, which covers the booking, the work undertaken, costs and charges, and staff conduct including complaints. It has been an approved code under the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since 2016, and the RAC has to keep demonstrating that members comply to keep that approval. That is a higher bar than a trade association badge: a code approved by Trading Standards is monitored, and a member that breaks it can be required to apologise, refund, repair, or be removed.

RAC engineers visit the business every year to check the standard is still being met: the equipment, the staff, the insurance and licences, the way estimates and invoices are handled, the complaints record, and that the RAC branding is being used correctly. Fastlane Autocare's most recent audit scored 100 per cent, as did the separate AA audit, and both certificates hang in the workshop reception at 232-254 Boundary Road, St Helens, because the schemes require the rating to be displayed where customers can see it. The vans, the fitters and the records all belong to that inspected business.

In a workshop you can see the certificates, the equipment and the other customers. On your drive you see a van and a fitter, and the things that go wrong are the ones you cannot see: an air gun on a locking nut, a wheel refitted unbalanced, a tyre without the right load rating. The Charter is the promise that the process behind those has been checked, and the dispute route is the guarantee that the promise has teeth. Free conciliation through the National Conciliation Service, binding on the business, is a condition of membership, and it is printed on our invoice.

Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Send the size off the sidewall and your postcode on WhatsApp. A clear price comes back before anyone sets off, the tyre is fitted at your door to the inspected standard, and the invoice matches the quote. No call-out charge, 24 hours a day across the North West and North Wales.

What drivers ask about the approval before they book.
RAC approved means the business is a member of the RAC Approved Garages network, a code of practice approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since 2016, whose members follow the RAC Service and Repair Customer Charter, are inspected every year and must offer customers a free, independent dispute service. The network explicitly includes mobile tyre repairers, and YourNewTyres is the mobile arm of Fastlane Autocare, which scored 100 per cent on its RAC audit.
The Charter covers four things a customer actually meets: the booking, the work undertaken, costs and charges, and how staff conduct themselves. In practice that means a clear price before the work, the work done as described with correctly rated parts, an invoice that matches, and a named route if something is wrong.
Membership is checked, not declared. RAC engineers visit every year to inspect the business and to check the RAC branding is being used correctly, and a business that breaks the code can be required to apologise, refund, repair or, if it cannot resolve the complaint, be removed from the network.
See AA approved mobile tyre fitting for the second, separate inspection we hold, and mobile tyre fitting for what a fit at your door includes.
The RAC Service and Repair Customer Charter and Code of Conduct is the written standard every RAC approved business signs up to. It sets out what you can expect at each stage: how the booking is handled, what work is undertaken and how it is explained, how costs and charges are quoted and invoiced, and how staff treat you, including how a complaint is dealt with.
For a mobile tyre fit that translates directly. You are quoted before we set off, told what tyre is being fitted and why it is the right rating for the car, invoiced what you were quoted with no call-out charge added, and given a named route if you are unhappy. The Charter is why we put the price in writing on WhatsApp rather than at the kerb.
The code is approved under the Chartered Trading Standards Institute's Approved Code scheme, which means the RAC has to demonstrate that members actually comply, through annual inspections and complaint monitoring, to keep the approval.
See puncture repairs for how the standard applies to the commonest call-out, and about YourNewTyres for the business behind the vans.
Tell us first and we put it right, usually with a return visit the same day. If we cannot agree, the RAC code requires us to offer you Alternative Dispute Resolution through the National Conciliation Service, which is free to you and whose decision is binding on the business; you can still go to court afterwards if you choose. The route is printed on the invoice.
That is the single biggest practical difference between an approved business and an unapproved one. A van with no scheme behind it can simply stop answering the phone. A member of the RAC network cannot, because an unresolved complaint is reported to the RAC and the scheme can require an apology, a refund, a repair or a goodwill gesture, and remove the business if it will not comply.
In practice the commonest complaints are simple and fixed on the drive: a wheel that needs rebalancing, a pressure light that needs resetting, a valve core weeping. We would rather hear about it than have you live with it.
Call 0300 124 6981 or message on WhatsApp and it reaches the fitter on shift and the office. See wheel balancing for the commonest come-back and why it happens.
Every year. RAC engineers visit the business annually to check it still meets the standard in the Customer Charter, that the equipment, staff and paperwork are as they should be, and that the RAC branding is being used correctly. Fastlane Autocare's most recent RAC audit scored 100 per cent, and the certificate is displayed in the workshop reception at 232-254 Boundary Road, St Helens.
An annual inspection is what keeps a badge honest. A business that has let the standard slip is told what to fix; one that does not fix it loses the approval and the right to the logo. That is why you can ask any RAC approved business when it was last inspected and expect an answer.
The same annual cycle applies to the mobile side of the business, because the vans, the fitters and the records all belong to the inspected workshop.
See AA approved mobile tyre fitting for the separate AA inspection cycle.
The RAC Approved Garages network specifically includes mobile tyre repairers as a member category, alongside garages, used car dealers and mobile locksmiths, so the approval applies to mobile work in its own right. In our case it is held by Fastlane Autocare as a business, and YourNewTyres is that business's mobile tyre fitting arm: the same company, fitters, Charter and complaints route.
The annual inspection happens at the St Helens workshop because that is where the equipment, the records and the staff are based and where the vans run from. The standard the inspector checks, a price before the work, the work as described, an invoice that matches and a complaints route, applies directly to a tyre fitted on your drive.
Both certificates hang in the workshop reception, as the schemes require, so you can see them if you are ever passing Boundary Road.
See where we cover across the North West and North Wales, and all services for everything that falls under the same standard.
No. RAC approval is a standards scheme, not a pricing scheme or a membership benefit. The tyre prices are ours, fixed before we set off, with no call-out charge and no out-of-hours rate, and you do not need to be an RAC member to book. What the approval guarantees is that the price you are quoted is the price you pay and that you have a free dispute route if it is not.
We quote budget, mid-range and premium options in your size so you can see the gap and choose, and we say which suits the car. On two tyres or more the cost can be spread at 0 per cent with pay monthly, subject to status.
If you are an RAC member with a flat tyre, the RAC will typically fit your spare or recover the car; we are the people who bring the tyre and fit it where the car is, 24 hours a day, so the two are complementary rather than the same thing.
See budget vs premium tyres and pay monthly.
Two organisations, two separate inspections, and Fastlane Autocare holds both at 100 per cent. The RAC scheme is a Trading Standards approved code with a written Customer Charter, an annual inspection and a free, binding dispute service through the National Conciliation Service. The AA inspection looks at the workshop equipment, qualifications, paperwork, estimating and complaints handling, and the AA also audits the Motor Ombudsman's code network.
For a customer the two overlap almost entirely, because both exist to check the same things: that you are told the truth about what the car needs, quoted before the work and treated properly if something goes wrong. The RAC scheme is the one that names mobile tyre repairers as members and writes the dispute route into the paperwork.
Holding both is unusual, which is why the workshop wrote it up as the Double 100. It is not a reason to pay more; it is a reason to expect the job done as quoted.
See AA approved mobile tyre fitting for the AA side in full.
Yes. The annual RAC inspection covers staff, equipment and paperwork, including insurance and the waste carrier licence for old tyres. Every fitter is REACT trained, the NTDA roadside safety licence for working on live roads and hard shoulders, and the air con technicians hold the F-Gas qualification the law requires. Wheels are torqued by hand to the manufacturer's figure, never with an air gun.
The vans carry a tyre machine that will not mark an alloy, a computerised balancer, a TPMS programming tool, alignment gauges and locking wheel nut removal sockets, so the job done on your drive is the job a good workshop would do.
Qualifications matter most where you cannot see the work: inside the tyre on a puncture repair, on the torque wrench, in the coding of a battery or a sensor. The inspection is of the process that gets those right.
See REACT trained tyre fitters and F-Gas trained air con technicians.
The National Conciliation Service is the independent Alternative Dispute Resolution body that RAC approved businesses must offer their customers when a complaint cannot be settled directly. It is free to the customer, its decision is binding on the business, and using it does not stop you going to court afterwards if you are still unhappy.
Conciliation means a trained, independent case handler looks at what both sides say, the invoice, the quote and any photographs, and reaches a decision. Because the business has agreed in advance to be bound by it, a customer does not need a solicitor or a small claims fee to get a fair answer.
It is rarely needed, because most problems are fixed with a return visit, but its existence is what makes the code worth something: a member cannot simply ignore a complaint and wait for the customer to give up.
The route is printed on our invoice. Call 0300 124 6981 first and we will almost always sort it before it gets anywhere near a conciliator. See contact us.
Yes. The approval is of the business, so every service we bring to your door is under the same Charter: tyre fitting, puncture repairs to BS AU 159, balancing, alignment, TPMS sensors, locking wheel nut removal, battery fitting, air con regas and fleet accounts. Each is quoted before the work, done as quoted and covered by the same dispute route.
Fleet customers get the same standard across a whole yard, with an inspection report per vehicle that evidences it for a roadside check or an operator's licence audit.
That is why we do not carry separate badges for separate services: one inspected business, one promise.
See fleet tyre fitting and all services.
Yes. The RAC Approved Garages code is listed by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute as an approved code, the certificate is displayed in the Fastlane Autocare workshop reception at 232-254 Boundary Road, St Helens, and the audit result is written up on the Fastlane website. Ask us when the last inspection was and we will tell you.
It is worth doing with any business that shows an approval logo, because the logo is easy to copy and the annual inspection is not. A genuine member can tell you when it was inspected and what was checked.
The same goes for the AA approval, held alongside it.
See contact us if you would like to see the paperwork before you book.
A code of practice approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute is one the CTSI has examined and continues to monitor: the code sponsor, here the RAC, has to show that its members really comply, through inspections and complaint records, and can lose the approval if they do not. The RAC Approved Garages code has held that status since 2016.
It is the difference between a trade badge and a consumer protection scheme. A trade association can hand out a logo to anyone who pays; an approved code has to deliver measurable protections, a written charter, an inspection regime and a free dispute route, and prove it to Trading Standards on an ongoing basis.
For a customer it means the promises on this page are not ours alone. They are conditions of a scheme that a public body has approved and that the RAC has to enforce on its members, including us.
See AA approved mobile tyre fitting for the separate inspection that sits alongside it, and mobile tyre fitting for the job itself.
