Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukUp to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting for NHS staff, emergency services, care and key workers, and the armed forces, shown with an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card. Fitted at the hospital car park, your home or the roadside, 24 hours a day, with no call out charge.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
Yes. YourNewTyres gives up to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting to NHS staff, emergency services, care and key workers, and serving armed forces and veterans, shown with an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card. It applies to any tyre from budget to premium, comes off the whole fitted price, and the tyre is fitted at the hospital car park, your home or the roadside, 24 hours a day.
The discount exists because the people it is for cannot get to a tyre depot in office hours. A twelve hour shift, a rota that changes weekly and a car that has to be on the road for the next one do not leave room for a morning in a waiting room, so the tyre comes to the car instead: the staff car park during the shift, the drive after it, or the roadside on the way in. The whole job happens at the vehicle, from the wheel coming off to the pressures being set, and there is no call out charge because the visit is priced into the tyre. See mobile tyre fitting for what happens at the car, and emergency fitting for a flat found at the start of a shift.
Claiming it takes one message and one card. Send your registration or tyre size on WhatsApp, say you are NHS or a key worker, and the discounted fitted price comes back alongside the ordinary one so the saving is visible. Show the NHS ID or Blue Light Card to the fitter when we arrive, or send a photo of it if the car will be unattended. There is no code, no voucher and no membership to join. The discount applies to the tyre and the fitting together, on car, van, 4x4 and motorhome tyres, and it comes off before pay monthly is set up, so two or more tyres can be spread at 0% interest, subject to status, on the discounted total.
It is available whenever we are, which is 24 hours a day across more than 2,700 areas of the North West and North Wales, with no out of hours rate for anyone. Around 32 minutes on average to reach a car in our core area, an honest time further out, and the same discounted price at four in the morning as at lunchtime. Where a tyre can be safely repaired rather than replaced, we repair it, to the British Standard, from £39.95. Send the registration and the postcode, or call 0300 124 6981, and the rest happens while you get on with the shift.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.
Opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send
Three ways it usually happens, and what actually needs to happen next.
You have pulled onto the M62 hard shoulder with a shredded tyre, no spare and a phone at 9 per cent. The recovery truck wants two hours. We come to the car with the tyre on the van.
You come out to the drive and one tyre is flat to the rim. The garage opens at half eight and cannot look at it until Thursday. We fit it on the drive before the school gates open.
A work van with a nail in a rear tyre is a day of jobs cancelled. We come to the yard or the site, before the first job if you send the size tonight.
One card is all it takes. If you carry an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card, you are covered.
Nurses, doctors, paramedics, porters, admin, cleaners, pharmacy, estates and reception. Anyone with an NHS ID qualifies; the card is the test, not the job on it.
The blue light services, on shift or off it, with a Blue Light Card or a service ID. A car in the station yard is fitted while the shift runs. See emergency fitting.
Home care rounds put more miles on a small car than most jobs, and the round does not stop for a flat. A Blue Light Card is all that is needed.
Anyone else carrying a Blue Light Card is included on the same terms. We do not narrow the list beyond the card.
Serving personnel and veterans, with a service ID or a Blue Light Card. The same up to 30% off tyres and fitting, at your door.
Car, van, 4x4 or motorhome, in any size, from a budget tyre to a premium one. The discount comes off the fitted price of whichever tyre you choose. See tyre sizes.
Most discounts for NHS staff are built for a depot in office hours. This one is built for a rota.
The discount comes off the tyre and the fitting together, not off a bare tyre price with fitting added back on afterwards. The figure on your quote is the figure you pay at the car.
An NHS ID or a Blue Light Card, shown at the car or sent as a photo beforehand. No login, no voucher, no membership and no form. The card is the whole check.
The service runs 24 hours a day with no out of hours rate for anyone, so the discounted price after a night shift is the same as at lunchtime. The fitter comes to the car.
Budget, mid range or premium, car, van, 4x4 or motorhome, every size. You pick the tyre from the full quote and the discount comes off whichever you choose.
The discount is applied before pay monthly is set up, so two or more tyres are spread at 0% interest, subject to status, on the reduced total rather than the full one.
Send the bay number and leave the locking wheel nut key where we can get it. The car is fitted in the staff car park during the shift and you drive home on it.
One message, one card, and the tyre fitted where the car is while you get on with the shift.
WhatsApp your registration or tyre size, where the car is and that you are NHS or a key worker. The discounted fitted price comes back next to the ordinary one.
Budget, mid range or premium, with the discount already applied to each. Two or more tyres can be spread at 0% interest, subject to status, on the discounted total.
The fitter arrives at the car park, your home or the roadside, around 32 minutes on average in our core area. Show your NHS ID or Blue Light Card at the car.
Wheel off, tyre fitted and balanced on the van, new valve, pressures set, nuts torqued and the old tyre taken away. A message tells you when it is done.
Spread the cost of your tyres
Spread the cost of your tyresThe NHS and key worker discount comes off the fitted price before pay monthly is set up, so two or more tyres are spread at 0% interest, subject to status, on the reduced total.
A percentage on its own tells you very little until you know what it is taken off and what is added back afterwards. What follows is how the NHS and key worker discount is applied, why it is built around a card rather than a code, and why the hour of the day makes no difference.
A fitted tyre price with us is one figure: the tyre, the visit, fitting, balancing, a new valve, pressures set and the old tyre taken away, with no call out charge. The discount of up to 30%, depending on the tyre, is taken off that whole figure, and your quote shows the ordinary fitted price and the discounted one side by side. That is deliberate. A discount applied to a bare tyre price, with fitting, valves and disposal added afterwards, can look generous and save very little on the total. Ours is checked against the total.

The discount applies to whichever tyre you choose from the full quote: a budget tyre in a common size, a mid range tyre with a better wet grip grade, or a premium tyre on a car that does the miles. It applies to van, 4x4 and motorhome tyres too. Nobody is pointed at a poorer tyre because they are claiming it, and the EU label on each tyre lets you compare wet braking and economy before you decide. For a driver doing early starts on wet roads through the winter, the wet grip grade is the number to look at.

We ask for an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card because that is the simplest honest way to keep the discount for the people it names, and we ask for nothing else: no code, no voucher and no membership. The service runs 24 hours a day with no out of hours rate for anyone, which is the part that matters most to a rota. A car in the staff car park is fitted during the shift, pressures set and nuts torqued, and a message tells you it is done before you come off the ward.

Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Send your registration, where the car is and that you are NHS or a key worker on WhatsApp. The discounted fitted price comes back next to the ordinary one, the fitter comes to the car park, your home or the roadside, and you show your NHS ID or Blue Light Card at the car. Up to 30% off tyres and fitting, 24 hours a day, no call out charge.
The van is on shift right now. Common sizes are on board, and the price is the same at midnight as it is at midday.
What staff actually ask us between shifts.
Anyone who carries an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card: NHS staff in every role from nurses and doctors to porters, admin and ambulance crews, the emergency services, social care and other key workers, and serving armed forces personnel and veterans. If you hold either card, you qualify for up to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting, and the card is all you need to show.
The offer is not limited to clinical staff. A hospital runs on cleaners, caterers, estates, IT, pharmacy and reception as much as on wards, and every one of them with an NHS ID is included. The same goes for a care worker with a Blue Light Card, a firefighter, a police officer or a paramedic; the card is the qualification, not the job title.
Send your registration on WhatsApp, say you are NHS or a key worker, and the discounted price comes back. See mobile tyre fitting for how the visit itself works.
Up to 30% off the tyre and the mobile fitting, depending on the tyre you choose. The exact figure is confirmed on your quote before we set off, so you see the discounted fitted price in writing and nothing changes at the car. The price includes fitting at your door, balancing, a new valve, pressures set and the old tyre taken away, with no call out charge on top.
The discount is applied to the whole fitted price rather than to a tyre price with fitting added back on afterwards, which is where a headline percentage usually gets eaten. We give you the ordinary fitted price and the discounted one together on the same message, so the saving is visible rather than claimed.
How far it goes depends on the tyre. On a premium tyre the pounds saved are larger; on a budget tyre the fitted price was low to begin with. Either way you are choosing from the full range at the discounted figure, and if you would rather talk it through, call 0300 124 6981.
Send your registration or tyre size on WhatsApp and say you are NHS or a key worker, and the discounted price comes back with the options. When the fitter arrives, show your NHS ID or Blue Light Card. That is the whole process: no code to enter, no form to fill in, no voucher to print, and nothing that has to be done in office hours.
We keep it to a card at the car because the people this is for are usually booking between shifts, from a ward, a station or a car park, on a phone. A discount that needs a login and a printed voucher is not a discount for a nurse at the end of a night; a photo of the card on WhatsApp or the card in your hand when we arrive is.
If someone else is with the car when we come, they can show the card for you. See how mobile tyre fitting works for what to expect at the visit, and contact for the number if you would rather call than message.
Yes. The same up to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting applies to key workers with a Blue Light Card as it does to NHS staff with an NHS ID: social care and carers, the emergency services, and serving armed forces and veterans. The card is the qualification, so if you carry one, you qualify, whatever the job on it says.
The Blue Light Card covers a wide range of roles and we do not narrow it. A care worker doing home visits on a rota puts more miles on a small car than most people and cannot do them on a flat, which is exactly the driver the discount and the 24 hour service are for.
Tell us you are a key worker when you send the registration, and show the card at the car. See emergency mobile tyre fitting for a flat found at the start of a shift, and where we cover for the towns and villages a home visit round takes in.
Yes. It applies across the range, from a budget tyre to a mid range or premium one, in every size we fit, and to car, van, 4x4 and motorhome tyres alike. You choose the tyre on its merits from a quote that shows the options side by side, and the discount comes off whichever you pick. Nobody is steered towards a poorer tyre because they are claiming it.
That matters because the honest advice on tyres is often to spend a little more. Wet braking is where the gap between a cheap tyre and a good one shows, and a driver doing early starts on wet roads in January is the one who benefits most from it. The discount narrows the gap between the tyre you would settle for and the tyre you would choose.
See budget vs premium tyres for where the extra money goes, tyre labels explained for reading the wet grip grade on the label, and van tyres if the vehicle is a works van rather than a car.
Yes. The discount comes off the fitted price first, and the discounted total on two or more tyres can then be spread at 0% interest, subject to status. The two work together rather than one or the other, so a pair of tyres after a run of night shifts gets both the lower price and the monthly plan. The application is done on your phone in minutes.
The order matters. Because the discount is applied before the plan is set up, the monthly figure is calculated on the reduced price, not the full one, and the total over the months matches the discounted fitted price exactly. Nothing is added for spreading it.
The plan is subject to status, which means it is assessed and not everyone is accepted; if it is declined, the discount still applies and the tyres are paid for on the day at the discounted price. See pay monthly tyres for how it works in full, or call 0300 124 6981 to ask first.
Yes, and we do it often. Send the registration, the car park and the bay, and leave the locking wheel nut key somewhere we can get at it. The car is done where it stands while you are on the ward, the fitter messages you when it is finished, and you drive home on a new tyre at the end of the shift.
The practical points are access and ground. A staff car park with a barrier needs us to be let in, so tell us how; a multi storey is fine on the lower decks with headroom for the van; and the car needs to be on firm, level ground to jack. On a busy site we position the van to protect the working side of the car.
You do not need to be there and you do not need to be reachable, although a message when we are done is normal. Payment is taken by card over the phone or when you are free. See can you fit tyres at home for the same visit done on a drive.
Yes. Serving armed forces personnel and veterans are included in the offer alongside NHS staff and key workers, and qualify for the same up to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting. Show your ID or Blue Light Card at the car, having told us when you booked, and the discount is applied to the fitted price in the same way as for anyone else claiming it.
The Blue Light Card is open to the armed forces community, so most veterans who claim the discount do so with that card, but a service ID is accepted too. The fitter needs to see one or the other when we arrive, and a photo on WhatsApp beforehand is fine if the car will be unattended.
The service itself is the same for everyone: 24 hours a day, fitted where the car is, no call out charge, across the North West and North Wales. See about YourNewTyres for who we are, and mobile tyre fitting for what happens at the car.
Yes. The discount is available whenever we are, which is 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and there is no out of hours rate for anyone. A tyre fitted at four in the morning after a night shift carries the same discounted price as one fitted at two on a Wednesday afternoon, and the fitter comes to the hospital, the station or your home either way.
Shift work is why the 24 hour side of this matters more than the percentage. Most tyre offers for NHS staff assume you can get to a depot in office hours, which is exactly what a rota does not allow. Ours assumes the opposite: the tyre comes to you, at the time the shift ends, wherever the car happens to be.
Send the registration and the postcode when the flat is found, even at night, and you get a real time back; around 32 minutes on average to reach a car in our core area. See flat tyre: what to do for the meantime, and call 0300 124 6981 any hour.
Yes, an NHS ID or a Blue Light Card, shown to the fitter when we arrive or sent as a photo on WhatsApp beforehand if the car will be unattended. That is the only check. There is no registration, no code, no membership to join and no proof of employment beyond the card itself.
We ask because the discount is meant for the people it names, and a card is the simplest honest way to keep it that way without making anyone jump through hoops. A photo of the card with the name visible is enough; you do not need to send anything with your address or your payroll number on it.
If the car will be at home and you will be at work when we come, a photo of the card on WhatsApp before the visit does the job. See the general FAQs for the rest of how we work, and services for everything else the van does.
Yes. Van, 4x4 and motorhome tyres are all included at the same up to 30% off tyres and mobile fitting, in every size we carry or order. A community nurse's works van, a paramedic's 4x4 and a firefighter's motorhome in storage are all fitted at the discounted price, at your door or wherever the vehicle lives, with no call out charge.
Van and 4x4 tyres are larger and carry higher load ratings, so the fitted price is higher and the pounds saved by the discount are larger too. Motorhome and caravan tyres are usually replaced as a set on age, which is where the discount and pay monthly together make the most difference.
See 4x4 tyres, the van tyres guide and motorhome tyres for the fitments, and tell us the vehicle when you send the registration so the right tyre goes on the van first time.
Yes. The discount applies to the tyre and the mobile fitting together, so it comes off the whole fitted price rather than off a bare tyre price with fitting added back afterwards. The fitted price already includes the visit, fitting, balancing, a new valve, pressures set and disposal, and there is no call out charge, so the discounted figure on your quote is the figure you pay.
We quote it that way because a percentage off a tyre price alone is easy to make look bigger than it is. If fitting, balancing, valves and disposal are added after the discount, the saving on the total shrinks. Applying it to the fitted price keeps the number honest.
For a sense of what a fitted price contains and why, see how much mobile tyre fitting costs, and mobile fitting vs a garage for what it saves you in your own time, which for a shift worker is the bigger number.
Send your registration and we will look the size up, or send a photo of the sidewall, where the size is moulded in as a string like 205/55 R16. Either is enough for the discounted price to come back. If the car has a mix of sizes, common on cars with wider rears, tell us which corner has the flat and we will check both.
The registration is the quickest route, because it tells us the car and its standard fitments in one go. The sidewall photo is the safest, because a car can be on a size the previous owner chose rather than the standard one, and the photo shows what is actually on it.
Between the two there is no need to go and read the tyre at night in the rain. See tyre size explained for what the numbers mean, and tyre sizes for the sizes we fit most and what each usually costs before the discount.
Everywhere the van goes, which is more than 2,700 areas across the North West and North Wales, fitted at your home, work or the roadside. Every hospital, ambulance station, fire station and care home in the region is inside the area, and so are the villages a district nurse's round takes in. The discount is not tied to a town or a depot; it travels with the fitter.
