Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukLexus with a flat or a sensor light? We bring the tyre to your drive and fit it there. Any hour, no call out charge. Send the reg and we check the size and the sensors first.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
Your Lexus takes the size printed on its door pillar sticker, and our van can fit it on your drive today. An NX from 2014 to 2021 runs 225/65 R17 or 225/60 R18. An RX 450h from 2016 runs 235/65 R18 or 235/55 R20. Lexus has no approval marking, and each wheel has a pressure sensor.
Put plainly, the label in the door frame says what your Lexus needs. Text the reg instead if that is easier. The tyre then comes to your drive or office in a van, at a time that suits, with nothing charged for the journey.
Lexus does not put its own mark on tyres. What the plate says is what you buy. Your Lexus left the factory on a quiet touring tyre, and matching that comfort is what most owners want.
Lexus fits a pressure sensor inside each wheel. It reads the real pressure. Each sensor has a sealed battery that lasts years, not forever. Many Lexus hybrids on the road are now well over seven years old, so dead sensors are common. We test them before we start and tell you first.
Some newer NX cars on 20 inch wheels came on run flat tyres with no spare. That size is hard to find, so book it early.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.

Three Lexus calls, and what we do about each one.
The light on your RX hybrid will not go out. The tyres are fine, but a sensor battery has died. We test all four and swap the dead one in the same visit.
Your NX on 20 inch run flats has a slow leak. Run flats get you home, they are not for a week of driving. Send the reg and we bring the right one to your drive.
Your IS is so quiet that a worn tyre drones on the motorway. We fit a quieter tyre in the right size and load, at home or at work.
A Lexus comes on two or three wheel sizes by grade. Below are the ones we get asked for week in, week out.
The NX 300h is the Lexus we are called to most.
Check your size →A heavy hybrid, so the load index on the plate matters.
Check your size →Two fitments from 17 to 18 inch, so the trim decides which this one wears.
Check your size →Cheap to run, and the sensors on older ones are fading.
See 205/55 R16 tyres →Trim decides the wheel size on most of these, and previous owners change wheels. The sticker in the driver's door shut is the figure that counts, and we check it before anything is ordered.
What decides how a Lexus job goes.
You will not see a Lexus code on a sidewall. The pillar sticker numbers are all that must match. The car came on a quiet touring tyre, so we quote options that keep that calm ride.
Lexus uses a direct system. A sensor inside each wheel reads the real pressure. That is handy. But each sensor has a sealed battery, and on an older car they die one at a time. The dash then shows a fault even when the pressures are right.
The CT, the first NX and the older RX hybrids are now well past seven years old. That is when sensor batteries start to go. We put a tester on each one first, and tell you what it says before any work.
Some newer NX cars on 20 inch wheels came on run flat tyres and no spare. A run flat lets you drive a short way at low speed after a puncture. The size is hard to get, so send the reg early and we will source it.
What we see on Lexus cars, and the thing to check first.
Every Lexus has a sensor in each wheel. On older hybrids they start to fail.
Newer NX cars on 20s may run run flats. The size is hard to find.
A quiet cabin shows up a loud tyre. We quote quiet options.
Usually balance. A quick fix, done on the drive.
Usually in the tool kit or the glovebox. Leave it out for us.
Choose on comfort and noise. There is no letter to hunt for.
Whichever of these is yours, the answer is the same: send the registration, get a price, and the van comes to the car.

Lexus fits a sensor in each wheel. On a CT, NX or RX that is ten years old, the batteries are fading. We test every sensor before we start.

Leave the Lexus in its bay and the key at reception. We fit, test the sensors and message you when it is ready.
How it works →No garage, no waiting room, no call-out charge.

Lexus tyres fitted at your home or work, with every sensor tested before we start. Lexus fits a pressure sensor in each wheel, and on older hybrids the batteries are fading. There is no Lexus approval marking, so you pay for the right size and a tyre that keeps the car quiet. Some newer NX cars on 20 inch wheels run on run flats with no spare. Day or night, we drive to the Lexus at no extra cost. Call 0300 124 6981 or send the reg on WhatsApp.
Lexus puts a sensor inside every wheel. It reads the real pressure and shows it on the dash. Each one runs on a sealed battery. After some years that battery fades, and the sensor stops talking. The light comes on, or one wheel shows a blank, even though the tyre is fine. Lots of Lexus hybrids on the road are now well past seven years old, which is when this starts. We test every sensor before we take a tyre off. If one is dead, you hear about it before the job. We pair a new one with your Lexus, and the warning goes out.

A Lexus is built to be calm inside. That makes tyre noise stand out. A cheap tyre that sounds fine on a van can drone on a Lexus at 70 mph. The EU label on every tyre shows a noise figure in decibels. Lower is quieter, and a few decibels is a big change to the ear. We quote options for your size that keep the ride smooth and the cabin quiet. If your Lexus has started to shake at around 50 mph, that is usually wheel balance, and we fix it on the drive.

Most Lexus owners we meet would rather not lose a morning at a dealer. So we fit in the office car park or on the drive while you get on with things. The price includes valve, balancing and disposal, and there is no charge for the visit. Each sensor is handled carefully, because it sits right where the machine works. We do the wheel bolts by hand to the Lexus torque. If a screw is in the tread and a British Standard repair at £39.95 is possible, we say so.

Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Send the reg. We look up the size, bring a sensor tester and a quiet tyre option, and fit it where the Lexus is parked.
There is no out of hours rate and no waiting for the morning. Message now and we come to the car tonight.
Lexus owners usually start with NX sizes and the sensor light. Both are below.
An NX from 2014 to 2021 runs 225/65 R17 on entry cars and 225/60 R18 on most others. Some newer NX cars on 20 inch wheels run 235/50 R20 run flats. Send your reg and we look it up, then drive the right tyre to your home or office.
Wheels get swapped when cars change hands, so we check the car, not the badge. See tyre sizes.
The NX is a heavy hybrid, so match the load index as well as the size. See speed rating and load index.
An RX 450h from 2016 to 2022 runs 235/65 R18 or 235/55 R20, and the trim decides which. The battery makes it a heavy SUV, so a tyre must meet the load number printed on the plate. The 20 inch has a thinner sidewall and is easier to damage on potholes. We fit it on your drive, with no call out charge.
A bubble on the side of the tyre? It needs replacing. See pothole damage.
The fronts wear first on an RX. See replace all 4 tyres or 2.
Most likely a sensor battery has died. Every Lexus has a sensor inside each wheel, and each one runs on a sealed battery. After some years it fades and the sensor stops talking to the car. The light stays on, or one wheel shows a blank. On an older CT, NX or RX, this is very common.
Replacement sensors get paired to your Lexus before we go. See TPMS sensor replacement.
If the light is flashing, it is usually a fault with a sensor. If it is steady, check the pressures first. See TPMS warning light.
Some do. Some newer NX cars on 20 inch wheels came on 235/50 R20 run flats with no spare wheel. Many other NX cars run normal tyres. A run flat lets you drive a short way at low speed after a puncture. The catch is that few shops stock that size, so book early and we will source it.
Swapping run flats for normal tyres leaves you with no spare, so think it through. See run flat tyres explained.
Unsure what your car has? See spare vs run flat vs sealant.
Usually wheel balance. A wheel that is slightly out of balance shakes the steering at a certain speed, often between 40 and 60 mph. A lost weight or a pothole can cause it. It is a quick fix, done on the drive with the wheel off. If the shake is under braking instead, it is more likely the brakes.
Balance is part of every tyre we fit. See wheel balancing.
A pull to one side is alignment, not balance. See wheel alignment.
The UX runs 215/60 R17 on the entry car and 225/50 R18 on F Sport and up. It is a small hybrid SUV, and both are easy sizes to find. The UX is light for a Lexus, so a quiet touring tyre suits it well. Message the reg and a van brings yours out.
The UX is quiet, so a noisy tyre stands out. See noisy tyres.
For comfort and range, a good touring tyre suits it. See mid range tyres.
Yes, more than on most cars. A Lexus cabin is so quiet that tyre noise is often the loudest thing you hear. The EU label on each tyre gives a noise figure in decibels. A few decibels lower is a big change to the ear. We quote quiet options in your size, so you can hear the difference before you buy.
The label also shows wet grip and rolling resistance. See tyre labels explained.
Worn tyres get louder too. See when to replace tyres.
Look at three things once a month. The tread should be well above 1.6mm, and a 20p coin is a quick test. The sidewalls should have no cuts, cracks or bulges. And the pressures should match the plate when the tyres are cold. If the car pulls, shakes or sounds different, get it checked.
Tread below 3mm stops much longer in the wet. See how to check your tyres.
Cracks on an older tyre mean the rubber is ageing. See cracked and perished tyres.
Of course. Most Lexus jobs we do are on a drive or in a work car park. NX, UX and CT tyres are easy to find, so the same day is common. The 20 inch NX run flat is harder, and it may take a day or two, which we tell you up front. There is no fee for coming out. Text the reg for a price.
Sensors get tested before a tyre comes off. See can you fit tyres at home.
Want quiet? Ask for the label noise figures. See tyre labels explained.
You do not need to come out to the car. Once the tyres are on, we send a secure payment link to your phone and you pay from your desk. Want a photo of the finished job? Ask, and we send one.
Buying four? Spread it. See pay monthly tyres.
How a job at work runs. See how mobile fitting works.
Not much, on the whole. A hybrid pulls smoothly from a stop, which is kind to tyres. The weight of the battery adds a little wear. Keep the pressures right and rotate them if the fronts wear first.
Low pressure wears the edges fast. See uneven tyre wear.
How long most tyres last. See how long tyres last.
Look in the tray under the boot floor, near the jack and tools. Some owners keep it in the glovebox or the door bin. Find it before we arrive. Without it the wheel cannot come off.
If it is gone, tell us when you book. See lost locking wheel nut key.
A rounded key can still stop a job. See seized and locking wheel nuts.
