Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukFlat on your Jazz or Civic? We bring the tyre to you and fit it where the car stands. Any hour, any day, no call out charge. Send the reg and we confirm the size first.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
Check the door shut sticker: that is the size your Honda takes, and we can bring it to your drive today. A Jazz from 2020 runs 185/55 R16, a CR-V from 2018 runs 235/65 R17 or 235/60 R18, and an HR-V from 2021 runs 215/55 R17 or 225/50 R18. Honda has no approval marking.
In one line: the label inside the driver door lists your tyre, and we bring that tyre to wherever the Honda is. A Jazz or Civic size is easy to get hold of, so most jobs are done the day you message, and there is never a charge for us driving out.
Honda does not run a tyre approval scheme. There is no letter to look for on the sidewall. The size, load index and speed rating are the whole spec, so you never pay extra for a badge.
Most Hondas sold here use a deflation warning system rather than a sensor in the wheel. It compares how fast each wheel turns. After new tyres or a pressure change it must be set up again from the menu, and then the car needs a steady drive to learn. We start that for you before we leave.
The hybrid Jazz, HR-V and CR-V carry battery weight. Always match the load index on the plate, not just the size.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.

Small car or hot hatch, the fix is the same: the tyre comes to you.
You get back from work and the Jazz is on its rim in the station car park. Its size is common. Send the car park name and we come to you.
A crater on a B road has cut the thin 20 inch tyre on your Civic Type R. We bring the right tyre, check the rim for a crack, and fit it at home.
The boot is full and a rear tyre is soft on the morning you leave. We come early, repair or replace it, and set the pressure for a loaded car.
Most Hondas leave the line on one of two wheels. Here are the sizes for the models on our vans most weeks.
The raised Crosstar runs 185/60 R16, which is taller, so the two are not the same tyre.
Check your size →Both are common sizes and quick to get.
Check your size →The hybrid carries battery weight, so match the load index on the plate.
See 215/55 R17 tyres →Petrol and hybrid use the same two sizes.
Check your size →Very little sidewall, so potholes and kerbs damage it easily. We check the rim every time.
Check your size →Trim decides the wheel size on most of these, and previous owners change wheels. The sticker in the driver's door shut is the figure that counts, and we check it before anything is ordered.
The two things that decide how a Honda job goes.
You will not find a Honda code on a sidewall. The sticker numbers are all a replacement has to match. Your Honda came on a big brand tyre picked by the factory. That is a good guide, but you are free to choose.
Honda calls it DWS. It has no sensor in the wheel. It watches how fast each wheel turns, and a soft tyre turns faster. That means nothing in the wheel to break at a tyre change. It also means the system must be set up again after new tyres, a pressure change or swapping wheels round.
Pump the tyres to the plate pressures when they are cold. Start the setup from the menu. Then drive for a good stretch at a steady speed, with some bends. The car needs that drive to learn each wheel. We start the setup before we go, and tell you what to expect.
The Jazz, HR-V and CR-V hybrids carry a battery. The plate lists a load index to carry that weight. Right size, lower number? Wrong tyre. We check it on every job.
What we see on Hondas, and the one that trips people up.
No sensor in the wheel on most. After new tyres the system needs setting up and a steady drive.
The Crosstar runs 185/60 R16, the normal Jazz 185/55 R16. They look alike and are not the same.
A 245/30 R20 has hardly any sidewall. One pothole can finish it.
Match the load index on the plate, not just the size.
Glovebox, door pocket or with the jack. Check before the van turns up.
No code on the sidewall. Pick on grip, noise and price.
Whichever of these is yours, the answer is the same: send the registration, get a price, and the van comes to the car.

The Jazz is the car we are called to most for Honda. It runs a small, common size, so it is often a same day job on your drive. Send the reg and we check which size first.

The dealer will fit tyres too, but you have to take the car there and wait. We bring the tyre to the car, at your home or work, any hour.
How it works →No garage, no waiting room, no call-out charge.
Trim decides the wheel size on most makes, so the model name on its own is not enough to quote from.
Including the door pillar figures, so you get the size the manufacturer specified rather than whatever is on it now.
Evenings, weekends and the middle of the night are all normal. The car does not have to move.
Torqued properly with a torque wrench, balanced, pressures set, TPMS reset, old tyres taken away.
Spread the cost of your tyres
Spread the cost of your tyresA full set for a CR-V can land at a bad time. Say so when you get in touch and we will go through it with you.
Honda tyres fitted where the car is, with the warning system set up before we leave. Most Hondas here use a deflation warning system with no sensor in the wheel, so it needs setting up after new tyres. There is no Honda approval marking, so you only pay for the right size. A Jazz or Civic tyre is easy to get, so we often fit it the day you ask. The van runs day and night, and coming out costs nothing. Call 0300 124 6981 or send the reg on WhatsApp.
Most Hondas here have no pressure sensor in the wheel. Honda uses a deflation warning system. It watches how fast each wheel spins. A soft tyre is a touch smaller, so it spins a touch faster, and the car spots it. That is good news at a tyre change, because there is nothing in the wheel to damage. But the car needs to learn each new tyre. You pump the tyres to the plate figure, start the setup from the menu, and then drive. It needs a steady run of a good few miles, with some bends, to finish. If you only pop to the shop, the light may still be on. That is normal. We start the setup before we leave and tell you what drive it wants.

The Jazz is the Honda we fit most. Since 2020 most of them run 185/55 R16. The raised Crosstar runs 185/60 R16. Those two sizes sit next to each other on every price list, and it is easy to order the wrong one. The 60 is taller. Put it on a car built for the 55 and the speedometer reads wrong and the warning system gets confused. The older Jazz from 2015 to 2020 runs 175/65 R15 or 185/55 R16. That is why we ask for the reg or a photo of the sidewall. It takes ten seconds and it stops a wasted trip.

Plenty of our Honda customers are retired Jazz owners who would rather not sit in a tyre bay. So we go to them. A quiet street, a supermarket car park, a hospital visitor bay, it does not matter. Your quote already includes the valve, the balance and getting rid of the old tyre, and there is nothing added for the trip. We do the nuts up with a torque wrench so they come off easily next time. If it is a screw in the middle of the tread, a proper British Standard repair at £39.95 may be all you need.

Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Pop the reg into WhatsApp. We match the size to your Honda and send the nearest van, day or night. A Jazz size is often on board already.
The van is on shift right now. Common sizes are on board, and the price is the same at midnight as it is at midday.
Honda questions we hear every week, Jazz first because it is the one on most drives.
It depends on the year. A Jazz from 2020 runs 185/55 R16, and the raised Crosstar runs 185/60 R16. A Jazz from 2015 to 2020 runs 175/65 R15 on lower trims and 185/55 R16 on higher ones. Check the sticker on the driver door pillar, or just send the reg, and we fit it on your drive.
The 55 and the 60 look alike on paper. They are not the same height, so do not swap one for the other. See tyre size explained.
Both Jazz sizes are cheap and easy to find. Unsure which you have? A quick photo of the tyre settles it. See tyre sizes.
It depends on the year and trim. Many Jazz cars came with a tyre repair kit instead of a wheel, and some have a space saver under the boot floor. Owners are often surprised to find only a pump and a bottle. Lift the floor and look today, so you know before a flat, not during one.
A repair kit can seal a small hole in the tread. It will not fix a split or a tyre that has been run flat. See no spare wheel, what to do.
No wheel under the floor? We are the spare, any hour. See what cars carry instead of a spare.
Most Hondas use a deflation warning system, so you set it up again rather than just clear it. Pump all four tyres to the door plate pressures while they are cold. Choose the tyre deflation setup in the vehicle settings menu and start it. Then drive for a good stretch at a steady speed, with some bends, so the car can learn.
The setup must be done after new tyres, a pressure change or swapping wheels round. If you skip it, the light can stay on. See TPMS warning light.
If it comes back after a proper setup and a good drive, a tyre is losing air. See slow puncture.
A CR-V from 2018 to 2023 runs 235/65 R17 on the lower trims and 235/60 R18 on the rest. The petrol and the hybrid use the same two sizes. The hybrid is heavier, so check the load index on the plate as well as the size. We bring the right tyre to your drive, with no call out charge.
SUV tyres wear the front pair first, because the fronts steer and do most of the braking. See replace all 4 tyres or 2 for which axle new ones go on.
If you do a lot of muddy lanes, a good all season tyre can suit a CR-V. See all season tyres.
The Civic Type R from 2017 to 2021 runs 245/30 R20. That is a very low tyre with almost no sidewall. It grips hard, but a pothole or a kerb can split it or dent the rim in one hit. Fit a proper performance tyre in the exact size and load index, and check the pressures often.
A lump on the side wall is a failed tyre, even with plenty of tread. See pothole damage.
Cheap tyres on a car this quick are a false saving. See performance tyres for what the extra money buys.
They need the right load index more than a special tyre. The Jazz, HR-V and CR-V hybrids carry a battery, so the plate asks for a tyre that can take that weight. A low rolling resistance tyre also helps the battery range. Match the size, the load index and the speed rating on the plate and the tyre is right.
The label on a new tyre shows its rolling resistance from A to E. A is best for range. See tyre labels explained.
Hybrids are quiet, so tyre noise stands out more. See noisy tyres if yours hum.
Almost always the alignment. If the wheels point a little in or out, the tyre scrubs along one edge as it rolls. Potholes and kerbs knock the alignment out over time. You will see the inside or outside edge go bald while the middle still looks fine. Get it checked before you buy new tyres, or the new ones will wear the same way.
Low pressure wears both edges. Too much pressure wears the middle. The pattern tells you the cause. See uneven tyre wear.
An alignment check is quick. See wheel alignment for what is involved.
Home is where most of our Honda jobs happen. The Jazz, Civic and HR-V all use sizes that are easy to get, so the tyre is often fitted the day you ask. You do not have to drive anywhere, and we do not charge for coming out. Text the reg and your street, and the reply comes back with a price and a slot.
We need a little room round the wheel and the locking wheel nut key. That is it. See can you fit tyres at home.
Need it now? See emergency tyre fitting.
No. Honda never started a tyre code, so no Honda letter appears next to the size. Your car simply needs the width, profile, rim, load and speed figures from its sticker. Meet those and the tyre is correct. That leaves you free to pick a budget, mid range or premium brand, and we price all three side by side.
Your Honda left the factory on a big brand tyre. That is a fair guide, not a rule. See budget vs premium tyres.
Makes like Porsche and BMW do run real schemes. See premium tyres for how they work.
Yes. The Honda e drives its rear wheels and wears a wider tyre on the back. So you cannot swap the tyres round, and a front will not fit as a rear. Send a photo of the sidewall on the flat corner and we bring that exact size.
Rear drive cars wear the back tyres first. See how long tyres last.
The size on the sidewall tells us all we need. See tyre sizes.
To get home, yes. For a week, no. A space saver is narrow, it grips less and it is limited to 50 mph. Leave it on and message us. We fit a proper tyre wherever the Jazz is parked, often the same day.
Not sure what your Jazz carries? See what cars carry instead of a spare.
Put the flat tyre in the boot. It may be repairable. See puncture repairs.
Look at the fronts first. They steer and drive a Civic, so they wear faster. The legal limit is 1.6mm, but wet grip drops off below 3mm. Cracks, bulges or a cord showing mean change it now, whatever the tread says.
The bars in the grooves show you where 1.6mm is. See when to replace tyres.
Low tread is an MOT fail and a fine. See UK tyre law.
