Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukGet the pick up earning again without dragging it to a tyre bay. We fit 265/65 R17 at your yard, your farm, the site or the roadside across the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
We fit 265/65 R17 tyres at your yard, farm, site or home, or at the roadside, across the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day. We order this size in, and fitting is usually next day. WhatsApp us the reg or the size and we come back with a fitted price and a time. There is no call out charge.
A pick up with a flat is a day of lost work. The trailer is hitched, the job is waiting and the tyre is in shreds on a farm track. Taking it to a tyre bay means towing it there. You should not have to.
This size goes on pick ups and big four wheel drives. We send for it and it normally arrives the following day. Then the fitter works in the yard or at the gate. Balanced, new valve, old tyre gone. Allow 20 to 40 minutes for each tyre. See fleet tyre fitting if you run more than one.
Highway or all terrain, budget to premium, we price what suits the work. One thing to get right: the load rating has to meet the figure on the vehicle plate. We check it every time. Buying a set? Pay monthly spreads the bill at 0% on two or more, subject to status. Questions? Ring 0300 124 6981.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.

Working vehicles, working hours. This is where we usually find them.
A flint or a bit of old fencing and the tyre is done. The pick up is stuck in a gateway. Send a pin from the field. We find you.
Sites are full of screws and offcuts. A slow leak by lunch, flat by clocking off. We fit it in the site car park before the morning start.
Towing a horsebox or a plant trailer when one gives out. Get clear of the traffic, unhitch only if it is safe, and call us.
A working vehicle cannot wait a week for tyres. We order 265/65 R17 in, usually for the next day, and fit it wherever the vehicle is. Tell us the reg and what it carries. Ring 0300 124 6981, or send it all on WhatsApp.
A screw from a site in the middle of the tread is often fixable. Providing it was not driven flat, it can be put right to BS AU 159 for £39.95. The tyre comes off the rim so we can inspect it from the inside. A gash in the wall from a flint or a rock cannot be repaired. Neither can a tyre driven flat under load. Then we order a new one.

Pick ups and 4x4s follow the car rules. The tread must stay above 1.6mm over the central three quarters. Under that, every tyre carries its own fine of up to £2,500 and 3 points. A heavy vehicle towing on a wet road needs its grip even more. On permanent four wheel drive, replace all four together, not just two.

Mostly on tarmac, with the odd muddy gateway? A highway tyre is quieter and uses less fuel. Off road every day? An all terrain tyre bites in mud and resists cuts, but it is louder and uses a bit more fuel. We send prices across the tiers, with the wet grip grade and load rating for each.

Vehicles built to carry weight and tow, not to corner fast.
Our checked data covers cars. On a working vehicle we check the size against the reg instead.
It must meet the figure on the plate. Brand and pattern come second.
The size and the load rating are both printed on the tyre wall.
Ordered for you, fitted where the vehicle works. Nothing extra for the trip.
We look up the size and the load it has to carry.

Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Usually next day, fitted where the vehicle is parked up. Drop us the reg and we price it fitted, with a day and a time. Nothing extra for coming out.
Every hour you leave a flat tyre on a car is an hour you cannot use it. The van is on shift now, send the size.
Straight answers for pick up and 4x4 owners.
Three things set the price: the tier, the pattern and the number of tyres. An all terrain costs more than a highway tyre, and four cost more than two. Send the reg on WhatsApp and we price the options that suit the vehicle, fitted, with nothing added for driving out to you.
Prices for this size move with stock, so we quote on the day rather than print a figure that goes stale. Every quote already includes the fitting, the balance, a new valve and taking the old tyre for recycling. We also check the load rating before quoting. A tyre rated too low is no bargain at any price. Our guide to what tyres cost this year explains what moves the number up or down.
For a working vehicle, the tyre is only half the cost. The other half is a day off the road, a tow truck and a job that does not get done. We come to the yard, so that half disappears. Running three or four pick ups? Fleet tyre fitting lets us plan visits around your week. A full set on one vehicle can go on pay monthly, 0% and subject to status.
Normally the day after you confirm. We do not keep this size in the vans, so it is ordered for you straight away. The fitters work round the clock, every day of the year. So the fit can happen at first light before work, or at night once the vehicle is parked up.
If the pick up is needed for work, say so. We find the closest tyre with the right load rating and give you a real day. Now and then it comes sooner. A less common rating can add a day. Either way you hear it before you plan the week, not after. The mobile fitting walkthrough shows what happens once the van turns up at the gate.
Got a spare that holds air? Fit it, check its pressure and drive gently until we arrive. Spares on pick ups can sit under the bed for years and go soft without anyone noticing. No usable spare? Leave the vehicle somewhere safe, away from the traffic, and send a pin. Read emergency tyre fitting for what to do next. Rather talk? Ring 0300 124 6981.
At least the rating on your vehicle plate. The load index is the number just before the speed letter on the tyre wall. On a pick up that carries and tows, it is the one figure that must be right. Too low and the tyre overheats under weight. We match it every time.
Look for the plate on the door pillar, or check the handbook. It gives the maximum weight each axle can carry. We compare the tyre to that figure before anything is ordered. Brand, tread pattern and looks all come after it. If a cheaper tyre falls short, we will not fit it, however good the price. The load index and speed rating guide shows how to read the code.
Pressure is the other half of it. Most pick ups give two figures, one for empty and one for loaded or towing. When the bed is full or a trailer is hitched, run the higher one. A soft tyre under a heavy load heats up fast and can let go. Our tyre pressure guide shows where your figures are printed. Check them cold, before the first run of the day.
If the vehicle spends most of its time on tarmac, go highway. It is quieter, uses less fuel and wears well on the road. If you are off road most days, in fields, quarries or on tracks, an all terrain tyre grips better and resists cuts. We price both so you can compare.
All terrain tyres have bigger, chunkier blocks. That is what bites in mud and gravel. On a long motorway run you will hear it, and you will use a bit more fuel. If the chunky look is the main appeal, a highway tyre may suit you better. The SUV and 4x4 tyres guide walks through the types in plain words. We can talk you through both over the phone.
Farm vehicles and site pick ups tend to do better on all terrain. Weekday commuting with the odd muddy lane? Highway is usually enough. Snow in the hills is another question. Look for the mountain and snowflake symbol if you need winter grip. The 4x4 tyres page covers the brands we fit. Tell us how the vehicle is used and we will suggest one. Pick one type for all four, never a mix.
On permanent four wheel drive, usually yes. All four wheels are tied together through the drive system. If one tyre is much taller or shorter than the rest, the system fights itself and wears out costly parts. Four matched tyres turn at the same rate. It costs more today and saves a much bigger bill later.
Part time systems are different. The front axle only drives when you engage it, so a pair on one axle is often fine. The handbook tells you which system you have. Not sure? Send us the reg and we will check before quoting. Our two tyres or four guide covers when a pair is enough on a 4x4 and when it costs you later.
Only one tyre ruined and the other three nearly new? A single tyre can sometimes work. It needs the same make, pattern and size, and the other three close on tread. We measure before we fit. The mixing tyres guide covers the rules. If one on its own is not safe for your drive system, we explain why before we order four.
Yes. We come to the farm, the yard or the gateway where it gave up. Nobody needs to tow it anywhere. Drop a pin or give us the postcode and say which gate. We fit on firm ground wherever the vehicle is, day or night. Mud on the boots is part of the job.
Farm tracks are hard to find from a postcode alone. A location pin on WhatsApp is the quickest way to get the van to your gate. Tell us whether the vehicle is on firm ground. If it has sunk into soft mud, it may need pulling onto hardstanding first, so the jack has something solid to push against. Read what to do with a flat for the first steps.
We work the same way on building sites, quarries and depots. Got several vehicles on the same site? We can do them in one visit. Tell us how many, and the sizes, when you book. That way we order the right tyres for every one of them. See fleet tyre fitting for how we work with businesses. Call 0300 124 6981 to set up a visit at a time that suits.
Sometimes. A screw or nail in the centre of the tread can be put right to BS AU 159 for £39.95, as long as the tyre was not run flat. We pull the tyre off the rim and look inside before we say yes. Heavy vehicles can hide damage on the inner wall.
Farm and site tyres pick up damage that cannot be fixed. A slash in the wall from a flint, a rock or a strip of steel ends the tyre. So does driving on it flat under a load, because the inside shreds. We show you what we found before a new tyre is ordered. Our repairable or not guide shows where the safe zone stops on the tread.
Spotted a screw head but the tyre is still up? Leave it where it is. Drive steady, keep heavy loads off that corner and check the pressure before each run. Send a close photo on WhatsApp and we can usually say if a repair is likely. The slow puncture guide explains how we find a leak you cannot see, like a rim seal or a tired valve.
Exactly what a car needs: at least 1.6mm over the central three quarters of the tread, around the whole tyre. Each tyre under that can bring its own fine of up to £2,500 and 3 points. On a vehicle that tows or carries a load, you want far more than the legal minimum.
Check every tyre, inner edges included. Heavy vehicles often wear one edge if the tracking is out, or if the back is loaded most days. The raised bars inside the main grooves mark the limit. When the tread sits level with them, the tyre is due. The tread wear indicators guide shows exactly where to look, with pictures of what worn looks like.
Off road work eats tread much faster than tarmac. If the pick up lives on tracks or sites, check it weekly. Look for cuts, chunks torn out of the blocks and any bulge on the wall. A bulge is a fail at any depth, and it can burst under load. Our UK tyre law guide lists the other defects a tyre can be failed for, from cords showing to cracks.
On a vehicle that mostly does light road miles, a sound budget highway tyre can be fine, as long as the load rating is right. For towing, heavy loads or daily off road work, mid range or premium tends to last longer and shrug off cuts. We price each tier so you can compare.
Every tyre carries an EU label with a wet grip grade from A to E. A heavy pick up needs more road to stop in the rain than a hatchback, so a better grade earns its keep. The label also shows road noise, which is worth checking if you do long runs. Read tyre labels explained for the full picture. Premium makers such as Michelin and Pirelli sell this size, and so do the tougher off road brands. All season versions exist too. Every price we send has the grade beside it.
A working tyre that cuts easily or wears out early costs more over a year. Every extra visit is a morning the vehicle is not earning. If the pick up does heavy work, the tougher tyre often pays for itself. Our budget or premium comparison weighs it up. Tell us what the vehicle does each week and we will give you an honest steer on the tier.
Yes. Northwich and the villages round it are on our patch, including Winnington, Hartford, Davenham and Barnton. We fit at home, in the yard, on the farm or at the roadside. Tell us the reg and we price it fitted. The tyre is ordered in and usually fitted next day. Send a pin if the farm is hard to find.
Mid Cheshire has plenty of working vehicles, from farms near Great Budworth to yards on the edge of town. You get the same fitter, the same fitted price and the same hours as anywhere else we cover. See mobile tyre fitting in Northwich for the local detail. A pin from the farm gate saves us hunting for the right track.
Blown a tyre on the A556 or the A533? Get the vehicle off the carriageway if you can, keep everyone well away from traffic and send a pin. If a trailer is attached, tell us its size and load. We cover Knutsford, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel too. Ring 0300 124 6981 if you would rather speak to someone straight away. Night calls are normal for us.
Sometimes, but only after we check your vehicle. Some pick ups list more than one wheel and tyre size. Any swap must keep the overall height close, and the load rating must still meet the plate. For a flat today, the simple answer is the same size you have now.
The 265 is the width, the 65 is the wall height against it, and R17 is the wheel. A taller or shorter tyre throws out the speedo and can confuse the braking and traction systems. On four wheel drive it can also strain the drive system if the tyres do not match. Bigger tyres can rub on the arches when the vehicle is loaded. The wheel itself has to suit the new size too. Our guide to tyre sizes explains each number on the wall.
Thinking of a size change when you replace all four? Tell us before we order. We check the options against your exact vehicle and its plate. Some changes also need to be declared to your insurer. If it is not a safe or legal swap, we say so. Other sizes we fit are listed on tyre sizes. Most of the time, the right answer is the size you already run.
Yes. Two tyres or more can be spread at 0% interest, subject to status. A set of four for a pick up is a big bill, and it tends to land when cash is already stretched. Spreading it keeps the vehicle working. You pay the same fitted price either way.
Apply when you book, before we send for the tyres. It is done on your phone in a few minutes. Once it is approved, we order and fit as usual. Coming out to the yard costs nothing extra, so the figure you spread is exactly the quote. See pay monthly tyres for what the application asks for. Have the reg to hand when you start.
Only one tyre with a screw in it? Then paying monthly makes no sense. If the hole sits in the repairable zone, a £39.95 puncture repair may be all you need. We check that before selling you anything. If the tyre is beyond help, you see the damage first, and then we order. You only pay for what the vehicle actually needs, and nothing it does not.
