Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukYour crossover back on good tyres today, and you never leave the house. We fit 215/55 R17 on the drive, in the work car park or at the roadside, across the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
We do: 215/55 R17 tyres fitted at your home, your work or the roadside across the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day. The size is on the van, so most crossovers are sorted the same day. WhatsApp us the size or the reg. We reply with a fitted price and an arrival time. There is no call out charge.
Flat on the Puma before the school run. Front pair on the Kona worn smooth, with the MOT on Friday. Most small crossovers leave the factory on 215/55 R17. That means the Vitara, S Cross, Juke, Niro, Ateca and Q2 as well. These are heavy cars. A soft tyre on one is not worth the gamble.
We keep this size on the vans. The fitter swaps it where the car stands, balances the wheel, fits a fresh valve and takes the old one away. Allow 20 to 40 minutes a tyre. Two quick questions first. Is the Suzuki an AllGrip? Then all four go on together. Driving a Formentor? We check the wheel size from the reg before ordering. See how mobile tyre fitting works.
Every quote covers budget, mid range and premium in this size. A full set can be spread at 0% through pay monthly, subject to status. Message the reg now or ring 0300 124 6981 for a slot.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.

Taller, heavier cars. Here is how we get them moving.
The Juke dash lights up and the steering feels heavy. Leave at the next junction and stop somewhere safe. Send a pin and the size. A van heads your way.
The AllGrip is sat low on one corner and you start at seven. We bring four matched tyres, not one. You leave for work on a car that drives straight.
You come back with the shopping and the tyre is on the floor. The foam kit is no use, as the hole is on the edge. We fit a new one next to the trolley bay.
Crossover owners tend to message about one of two things. A tyre that keeps going soft. Or tread that the MOT tester has flagged. Either way we come to the car. Ring 0300 124 6981 or send the size on WhatsApp.
Crossovers pick up screws on building sites and new estates. If the screw sits in the centre of the tread, there is a good chance we can save the tyre. We strip it off the wheel and look inside before we promise anything. Safe? It gets a BS AU 159 repair for £39.95. Damage on the shoulder or the wall means a new one. So does a tyre that ran flat for a mile. We carry the size, so it goes on straight away.

Below 1.6mm across the middle three quarters, each tyre carries a fine of up to £2,500 and 3 points. A crossover weighs more than the hatch it is based on. It chews through the fronts quicker. So when one front is at the limit, its partner is rarely far behind. Change them as a pair on the axle. On a four wheel drive Suzuki, change all four. We measure every corner and tell you honestly.

Pottering round town and changing the car next year? A budget tyre does the job. Carrying the family up the M6 every other weekend? Mid range or premium grips better in the rain and copes with the weight. Every price we send has the EU wet grip grade beside it. Not sure? Tell us your yearly miles and we point you at one.

Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
The size rides on our vans. WhatsApp the reg for a fitted price and a time. No call out charge, 24 hours a day.
Every hour you leave a flat tyre on a car is an hour you cannot use it. The van is on shift now, send the size.
What Puma, Vitara, Kona and Juke owners ask us.
The price comes down to three things: the tier, the brand and how many tyres you need. A pair of budget tyres costs far less than four premiums. Send us the reg on WhatsApp. We reply with fitted prices across all three tiers. Fitting, a valve, balancing and disposal all sit inside that number.
Why no price list? Tyre costs change often, and a stale figure would only mislead you. The way we price does not change. There is no call out charge, because fitting is built into the tyre price. Evening, weekend or three in the morning, it costs the same. What mobile fitting costs breaks it down line by line. What we quote is what you pay on the drive.
On a crossover, the tier matters more than on a small hatch. The car is heavier, so it leans harder on the tyre when you brake. If you do big miles with a full car, lean towards mid range. If the car only does short runs, budget is fine. Four at once can go on pay monthly at 0%, subject to status. Ask and we will say which tier suits you.
Most days, yes. We carry 215/55 R17 on the vans because so many crossovers use it. We work round the clock, every day of the year. In our core area a van reaches you in around 32 minutes on average. Message the size and your postcode and we give you a time.
We cover 2,700+ areas across the North West and North Wales. Towns, villages and industrial estates are all on the list. If the nearest van has used its last one, we say so at once and give you the next real slot. No vague promises. Not sure if you are in range? Our coverage list shows every area. Or send the postcode and we check it for you.
Broken down on a fast road? If the car is in a risky spot, get out and wait behind the barrier. Then send your location pin. Emergency tyre fitting explains what to do while you wait. Once we arrive, a tyre takes around 20 to 40 minutes. You can wait in the warm, or hand over the keys and go inside. We message when it is done.
Yes. Bolton sits well inside our patch, from Horwich and Westhoughton to Farnworth and Little Lever. We fit 215/55 R17 at home, at work or on the side of the road, at any hour. The size is carried on the van. WhatsApp the reg and we come back with a fitted price and a time.
Lots of Bolton crossovers live on new estates, where stray screws are part of life. Stuck at the retail park near the stadium? We come into the car park. The fitter, the price and the hours are the same as anywhere else we cover. Mobile tyre fitting in Bolton has the local detail. We also cover Chorley and Wigan next door. If the car is in a multi storey, tell us the level and the bay number.
On the M61 or the A666 with a tyre going down? Pull off at the next safe place, and avoid the hard shoulder if you can. Put the hazards on. Send a pin on WhatsApp, or call 0300 124 6981 to talk to a person. Tell us which way you were heading. Flat tyre: what to do covers the first five minutes.
It is the standard size for small crossovers. The Ford Puma, Suzuki Vitara and S Cross, Hyundai Kona, Kia Niro and Nissan Juke all use it. So do the MG ZS EV, Fiat 500X, SEAT Ateca, Audi Q2 and the entry Cupra Formentor. Some Ford Focus Mk4 trims do too.
The same model can wear three wheel sizes, depending on trim. So a Puma badge does not settle it. Look at the tyre wall, or the sticker in the driver door. Quicker still, send the reg and we look it up. Ford tyres covers the Puma and Focus, and Hyundai tyres covers the Kona. Nothing gets loaded until the size matches.
The code itself is simple. 215 is the width, 55 is the wall height as a share of it, and R17 is the wheel. Owners sometimes ask about going up to 18 or 19 inch wheels. They look sharp. But the tyre wall gets thinner, and a heavy car hits a pothole harder. On the roads round here, the 17 inch usually rides better and costs less per tyre. If your car came on 17s, we would keep them. Read low profile tyres before you swap. The bigger wheel also costs more to replace when it kerbs.
Usually, yes. AllGrip is four wheel drive, so all four tyres work together. If one is much newer than the rest, it turns at a slightly different speed. That puts strain on the drive system. Fitting all four together keeps them even. If the other three are nearly new, we check and tell you.
We like to know it is an AllGrip before the van leaves, not when we reach the drive. Then we load four matching tyres. Same brand, same pattern, same tread. Mention it when you message, or send the reg and we will check. Suzuki tyres covers the Vitara and S Cross. A two wheel drive Vitara is different. There, a pair on one axle is fine.
Four at once is a bigger bill, we know. That is why pay monthly exists, at 0% interest, subject to status. One damaged tyre with good tread on the rest? A safe repair might be the answer instead. We look first. We also check the tread on every corner before we quote. Want to talk it through? Ring 0300 124 6981.
On many Formentors, yes, it is the entry size. Higher trims can come on bigger wheels, and a bigger wheel takes a different tyre. So we check the wheel size from the reg before ordering anything. Send the reg or a photo of the tyre wall and we confirm it.
A tyre that fits the Formentor range does not always fit your Formentor. Trim and year decide the wheel, and the wheel decides the tyre. We would rather ask one question on WhatsApp than turn up with the wrong tyre. A clear photo of the tyre wall settles it. Cupra tyres covers the Formentor and the Leon. It saves a wasted trip for both of us.
If your Formentor runs larger wheels, it will need a larger tyre. That may be an order rather than van stock. We say so up front, with a real time. The price is built the same way, with fitting, balancing and a new valve included. Tyre size explained shows how to read the wall. The load and speed rating matter just as much as the size.
It needs the right load rating. Electric and hybrid crossovers carry a heavy battery. The tyre has to be rated for that weight. The rating is the number just after the size on the tyre wall. We match or beat the figure your car needs, and we never go below it.
A tyre in the right size with too low a rating is the wrong tyre. It can run hot and wear fast under the weight. Your door sticker shows the figure the maker wants. We check it against the reg before quoting. Load index explained shows how to read those numbers. You only need to know one of them. Hybrid Niros count too, as they carry a battery as well.
Some EV owners also want a quieter tyre. With no engine noise, road roar stands out more. We can point you at quieter options in this size, and the EU label shows the noise level. Electric cars can wear the fronts a little faster too, because of the instant pull away. EV tyres explained covers the rest. The fitting itself is the same as any crossover. Ask for the label grades when you message.
Often. If the nail or screw is in the central part of the tread, and the tyre was not driven flat, we can usually repair it. It is done to BS AU 159 and costs £39.95. We take the tyre off the wheel first. Damage inside is the part you cannot see from outside.
We will not repair a hole in the shoulder or the tyre wall. We will not repair a tyre that ran flat and has crumbled inside. A plug pushed in from outside is not a proper fix either. If it cannot be saved, a new one comes off the van. Can a punctured tyre be repaired explains the rules in full. We would rather fit a new tyre than send you off on a risky repair.
Losing air slowly for weeks? That is a slow puncture. It can be a nail, a leaky valve or a corroded rim edge. We find the cause before we fix anything. Slow puncture lists what to check at home. Keep the pressure topped up until we get there. Driving on it soft ruins a tyre that could have been saved. A photo of the tread helps us plan.
You need 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tread, right round the tyre. Below that you risk a fine of up to £2,500 and 3 points, on each tyre. Four bald tyres on a Vitara could end your licence in one stop. The police do not wait for your MOT.
Find the small raised bars in the main grooves. When the tread is flush with them, the tyre is done. On a crossover, check the inside edge too. It hides under the arch and wears without you seeing it. How to check your tyres walks you through it on the drive. Five minutes, no tools. A torch helps with the inner edge. Do all four, not only the fronts.
Wet grip fades well before the legal minimum, which is why plenty of drivers change at 3mm. A heavy car needs that grip more, not less. MOT advisory on the sheet? Photograph it and send it over. We price what is needed and nothing else. A bulge or a cut is a fail whatever the tread. Failed MOT on tyres covers what happens next. Cracks in the wall from age can fail as well.
Yes, plenty. Most big makers offer an all season tyre in this size, because so many crossovers use it. Look for the mountain and snowflake symbol on the wall. It means the tyre passed a proper snow test. You fit one set and leave it on the whole year.
A crossover looks ready for snow, but on summer tyres it is not. Ride height does nothing for grip. All season tyres fix that without a second set of wheels in the garage. If you live up a hill on the edge of the moors, they make real sense. All season tyres sets out the pros and cons plainly. It also says where summer tyres still win.
Fitting just two? Put them on the same axle, never one of each type side by side. For a car that mostly does dry motorway miles, a good summer tyre is still a fine choice. Summer, winter or all season helps you decide. Tell us how you use the car when you message. We suggest one that fits your year, not ours. On a four wheel drive Vitara, fit the same type on all four.
For light use, yes. A decent budget tyre is legal and safe, and fine for short town runs. For long trips with a full car, a mid range or premium tyre is usually worth it. Crossovers are heavy, and better tyres stop them shorter in the wet. We send all three prices together.
The EU label on every tyre grades wet grip from A to E. That single letter tells you most of what matters. It shows how well the tyre stops on a wet road. We put the grade next to each price we send. Tyre labels explained covers the rest of the label. At the top end, Bridgestone, Goodyear and Michelin all make this size.
A cheaper tyre often wears faster. So over two years it may not save you anything. Keeping the crossover and doing big miles? Weigh up cost per mile, not cost today. If the car is going soon, budget makes sense. Mid range tyres explains the middle option, which is a sensible fit for a lot of family crossovers. We will not push you up a tier. Either way, you see all three before deciding.
Yes, when you buy two or more. It is 0% interest, subject to status. New tyres go on the car today and you pay over the coming months. That helps when both fronts wear out together, or a crossover needs a full set. The fitted price stays exactly the same.
You apply when you book, and it only takes a few minutes. Once approved, we fit as normal, usually the same day for this size. There is nothing extra for coming to you, because there is no call out charge on any job. The amount you spread is the fitted price, with nothing added. Pay monthly tyres lists what you need to apply. On an AllGrip, that often means four tyres at once.
Only one tyre with a nail in it? A puncture repair at £39.95 might be all it needs. There is no point spreading that. We look for a safe repair first. If a new tyre is needed, we show you why before we fit it. Questions before you commit? Call 0300 124 6981 and we talk you through the options, with no pressure to buy.
