Mobile tyre fitting · North West & North Wales · We fit around you
Approved by the AA and RAC. No call-out charge. Around 32 minutes on average, 24 hours a day.
info@yournewtyres.co.ukA new 195/65 R15 on your car today, without going near a garage. We fit it where the car is parked, at home, at work or at the roadside, across the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day.
Tell us your name and tyre size — we will reply on WhatsApp with a price and an ETA.
We fit 195/65 R15 tyres where your car is parked, anywhere in the North West and North Wales, 24 hours a day. Home, work or the side of the road. This size is on the van, so it is usually the same day. Send the size or your reg on WhatsApp. You get a fitted price and a time back in minutes, with no call out charge.
Flat on the drive. Bald, with the MOT due next week. Either way the car is stuck until the tyre is sorted. You do not need to limp it to a garage or wait until Thursday. The tyre comes to you.
Our vans carry 195/65 R15, so we do not order it in and come back another day. The fitter changes it on the spot, balances the wheel, fits a new valve and takes the old tyre away. It takes about 20 to 40 minutes a tyre. Here is how mobile tyre fitting works.
Budget, mid range or premium, we price all three so you can pick. Spread the cost at 0% on two or more with pay monthly, subject to status. Send the size now, or call 0300 124 6981, and we tell you when we can be there.
The size is on the sidewall of the tyre, or send us a photo of it. It lands with the fitter on shift. No call-out charge, and the fitting is already in the price.
You are through to YourNewTyres. What size are the tyres?
The size is printed on the sidewall, like 205/55 R16. Send that and where you are, and I will come back with a fitted price and the next slot.
A photo of the sidewall does the job if you would rather not type it out.

Family cars on everyday runs. Here is what happens next.
The Corolla is sat on its rim. The gates shut at quarter to nine. Send the size and your postcode. The fitter works on the drive while you walk the kids in.
You never saw it coming and the tyre is going down fast. Pull in somewhere safe. Drop us a pin. We bring the tyre to you.
A Leaf has a foam kit, not a spare, and foam cannot fix a torn tyre. We come to the office car park and fit a new one. You get a message when the keys are back.
Most drivers message us with one of two problems. The tyre went down overnight. Or the tread is close to the legal limit. Both get fixed where the car is. Call 0300 124 6981 or send the size on WhatsApp.
A nail in the middle of the tread is often fixable. We take the tyre off the wheel and check the inside first. If it is safe, we repair it to BS AU 159 for £39.95. A hole in the sidewall or near the edge cannot be repaired. Nor can a tyre driven flat for miles. Then we fit a new one from the van, there and then. You get a straight answer before we start.

The legal limit is 1.6mm of tread. Go under it and the fine is up to £2,500 and 3 points, for each tyre. Two bald tyres could cost you your licence. Front tyres wear together, so if one is gone the other is close. Fit them as a pair on the same axle and the car brakes straight in the wet. We check all four and tell you what can wait.

Short local runs and selling the car soon? Budget is fine. Long commute, all weathers, family on board? Go mid range or premium. They grip better in the rain and usually last longer. We send all three prices with the wet grip grade from the EU label next to each one. You pick. We fit.

Got us out of an unfortunate place of a Luton van blowout, super quick helpful and fairly priced!
Stranded in a car park with no spare! Called and they came within the hour, changed the tyre and was on my way 20 minutes later. Great service, delighted they made it so easy.
Brilliant service, same day, quick and easy. Was really rushed for time and they moved things around to ensure they got to me to get it fixed. Would defo recommend
Our vans carry this size. Send the size or your reg on WhatsApp and get a fitted price and a time. No call out charge, any hour.
The van is on shift right now. Common sizes are on board, and the price is the same at midnight as it is at midday.
Straight answers to what drivers ask us about this size.
It depends on the tyre you pick and how many you need. Budget costs least, premium costs most, and mid range sits between. Send the size or your reg on WhatsApp. We send a fitted price for all three. That covers fitting, a new valve, balancing and taking the old one away. No call out charge.
We do not print prices here. Tyre prices move every few weeks, and an old number helps nobody. What does not change is how the price is built. Fitting is priced into the tyre. So the figure we send is the figure you pay, at noon or at midnight. Read what mobile fitting costs for how it adds up. No extras appear on the day.
In this size the gap between budget and premium is real, but it is not huge. Ask for both. Tell us roughly how many miles you do a year and we will say which one makes sense. Need two or four at once? Pay monthly spreads it at 0% interest, subject to status. The car is safe today and the cost is spread.
Usually, yes. This size is on the van, so same day is normal, not lucky. We work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In our core area we reach you in around 32 minutes on average. Late evening and early morning are normal hours for us.
Send the size and your postcode. We give you a real time, not a hopeful one. If the nearest van has just used its last one, we tell you straight away and give you the next slot. Stuck somewhere awkward, like a hard shoulder? Read emergency tyre fitting first, then message us with a pin. Tell us which side of the road you are on.
Once we are with the car, each tyre takes about 20 to 40 minutes. That includes balancing and setting the pressures. You do not have to stand and watch. Lots of customers hand over the keys and carry on working. We message you when it is done. See how mobile fitting works for the full visit, start to finish. The old tyre goes with us for recycling.
Yes, and plenty of them. So many family cars use this size that most big makers do an all season version of their best seller. If your car lives outside through a North West winter, all season is a smart middle ground. You fit it once and forget about swapping sets.
Look for the mountain and snowflake symbol on the tyre wall. It means the tyre passed a real snow test. It is not just a label. You can run it all year, so there is no second set of wheels filling the garage. Our all season tyres guide gives you the honest pros and cons. It also covers where a summer tyre still wins.
All season makes most sense if you drive every day in any weather. Early starts in January. A house up a hill. For town miles in a car that lives in a garage, a good summer tyre is fine. See summer, winter or all season to decide. Or just ask us when you send the size. We will tell you straight if it is worth it for you.
Mostly family hatchbacks and small people carriers on entry trims. Think Toyota Corolla, SEAT Leon, Hyundai i30, Kia Ceed and Peugeot 308 or 2008. The Citroen C3, C3 Aircross and Berlingo use it too. So do the Fiat Tipo, the Mercedes A Class on SE trim and the Nissan Leaf.
One model can come on different wheels, depending on the trim. So the badge alone is not proof. Check the tyre wall. Or check the sticker inside the driver door. Easier still, send us your reg and we check it for you before anything is ordered. Our Toyota tyres page covers the Corolla. If your car is not on our list, your tyre wall still decides.
Leaf owners often ask if an electric car needs a special tyre. It does not need a bigger wheel. It does need the right load rating, because the battery is heavy, and we always match it. Some owners also want a quiet tyre, because there is no engine noise to hide road roar. See Nissan tyres for more. Tell us the model year when you message.
Sometimes, but only if your car was built for it. Many cars on this size also came on 205/55 R16 on a higher trim. That means new wheels as well as new tyres. For a flat today, the easy answer is the same size. It is on the van.
The new tyre has to be almost the same overall height. If it is not, the speedo and the brakes work from the wrong numbers. We check any change against your exact car before we order. Thinking of bigger wheels when you replace all four? See 205/55 R16 first. That swap only works if you already have the right wheels. Most people keep the size they have.
Here is one reason to stay put. The 15 inch wheel has a taller tyre wall than the bigger options. It rides softer and takes a pothole better. People sometimes ask about a wider tyre for the look. On a family car it adds noise and gives little back. Tyre size explained shows what each number means. Short version: keep the size on the tyre wall.
Often, yes. If the hole is in the middle of the tread, and the tyre was not driven far while flat, we repair it. That is to BS AU 159, for £39.95. We take the tyre off and look inside first. The damage you cannot see is the damage that matters.
Some flats cannot be repaired. A hole near the edge. A cut in the sidewall. A tyre chewed up inside from being driven flat. A plug pushed in from outside, with the tyre still on, is not a proper repair either. When a repair is not safe, we fit a new one from the van. Read can a punctured tyre be repaired for the rules.
Nail in the tyre and it is still holding air? Leave the nail in. Keep your speed down. Pulling it out turns a slow leak into a flat. Take a photo of where it is and send it with the size. We can often tell you straight away if a repair is likely. See nail in tyre for what to do next. Do not drive on it flat.
The limit is 1.6mm. That is across the middle three quarters of the tread, all the way round. Go under it and the fine is up to £2,500 and 3 points, per tyre, not per car. The police can stop you for it any day, not just at the MOT.
Most tyres have small raised bars in the grooves. When the tread is level with those bars, you are at the limit. Time to change. A 20p coin is a rough check too. If you can see the outer band of the coin, you are close. Our guide to tread wear indicators shows where to look. It takes less than a minute on the drive.
Grip in the wet drops well before the legal line. That is why many drivers change at about 3mm. Got an MOT advisory for tyres? Send us a photo of the sheet and we will price what needs doing. A bulge or a deep cut is a fail at any tread depth. See UK tyre law for the rest. Cracks from old age can fail too.
Not by law, but usually yes. The two tyres on one axle should match. Same size, same type, and close on tread. If one front is bald, the other has done the same miles on the same roads. It is rarely far behind. Doing the pair saves a second visit a few weeks later.
Uneven grip across one axle can make the car pull when you brake hard in the rain. A matching pair keeps it straight. That is what you want when a child steps out from between parked cars. Read two tyres or four for when one tyre is fine and when it is a false saving. Most of the time, the pair wins.
If only one tyre is damaged and the other has plenty of tread, we say so. Then we fit just the one. We check all four while we are there and tell you what can wait. Nobody gets pushed into a full set they do not need. Our mixing tyres guide covers what the law allows. The short answer: match the pair on each axle.
For short local runs, a good budget tyre is fine. Doing long motorway miles, driving in all weathers or carrying the family a lot? Then mid range or premium is usually worth the step up. We send both prices side by side, so you can compare them on your phone in a minute.
Every tyre has an EU label. It grades wet grip from A to E. That one letter is the fastest, fairest way to compare two tyres at two prices. It shows how well each one stops on a wet road. We send the grade next to every price. See tyre labels explained for the rest of the label. Noise and fuel are on there too.
A cheaper tyre can wear out faster. So the cost per mile is not always lower. If you keep the car for years and cover big miles, that matters more than the price on the day. If the car is going next spring, it matters less. Then budget is the honest answer. Budget vs premium tyres sets out the trade. You choose. We fit.
Yes. Wrexham and the villages round it, like Gresford, Rossett and Coedpoeth, are part of our patch. We are there most days, and nights too. We fit at your home, your work or the roadside, day or night. Send the size or your reg on WhatsApp for a fitted price and a time.
Same goes for the whole border and the North West, from Chester across to Warrington and up to Preston. A driver on a Wrexham industrial estate gets the same fitter, the same price and the same hours as one in the city. Llay, Chirk and Saltney are covered too. See mobile tyre fitting in Wrexham for the local detail. We know the roads.
Stuck on the A483 or another fast road? Get the car somewhere safe. Stand behind the barrier, away from the traffic. Then send us your location pin. Or ring 0300 124 6981 if you would rather talk to a real person. We come to where the car is. Our coverage list shows all 2,700+ areas we reach. If you are not sure, just ask.
It should not, because we sort it at the car. Most modern cars watch tyre pressures. Some need a reset after a new tyre goes on, or the warning stays lit. We set the pressures to the figure on your door sticker and reset the system before we leave. You drive away with no light on the dash.
Some cars read pressure through sensors inside the valves. Others work it out from how fast each wheel turns. Both kinds can throw a warning after a tyre change if nothing is reset. So we never skip it. Is your light on right now and you are not sure why? See TPMS warning light. It explains what each light means.
If a sensor is broken, or its battery has died, we can fit a new one on the same visit. No booking a garage for a light on the dash. Tell us when you book, so we bring the right part for your make and model. A dead sensor is a common reason for a light that will not clear. Read TPMS sensors for more.
Yes, on two tyres or more. It is 0% interest, subject to status, and quick to apply. A full set goes on the car today and gets paid off over the next few months. That helps when two tyres wear out in the same week. You pay the same fitted price as paying on the day.
You apply when you book. Once it is approved, we fit as normal. Nothing is added for coming out to you, because there is no call out charge on any job, day or night. The fitted price you see is the amount you spread, with no fee on top. See pay monthly tyres for what you need to apply.
Only one tyre damaged? A puncture repair at £39.95 might be all you need. No point spreading that. We check for a safe repair first. We will not sell you a tyre you do not need. If a new one is the answer, we show you the damage and explain why before we fit it. Call 0300 124 6981 if you want to talk it through.
